About Safari Experience

Kanha Tiger Reserve spans over 940 km² in Madhya Pradesh, home to Bengal tigers, barasingha deer, sloth bears, and 300+ bird species. Jeep safaris offer routes across four core zones—Kanha, Kisli, Mukki, Sarhi—with experienced naturalists guiding groups of up to six passengers.

Core zones closed from 1 July to 30 September. Afternoon safaris closed every Wednesday and during Holi/Diwali.

Guidelines

Max 6 adults per Jeep + one naturalist & driver.
Booking required in advance via MP government portal or authorized agent.
Single-seat bookings available online for core zones only.

Stay quiet to avoid disturbing animals.
